Traning Program

The school has two programs:
• Beginning classes
• For Adults

Students choose an emphasis in Performance, Russian Studies. We design individualized programs to meet the needs of gifted and talented students. We also offer introductory courses, workshops for those students.

The curriculum is planned out of two-year program and is composed of the following subjects.

• Set construction, lighting and sound
• Theatrical make up and sound
• Stage designing
• Mime and movement
• Voice and speech dynamics
• International Playwriting

Actor`s Skills

History of theater and theater schools.

Actor`s technique

Commedia Dell`Arte. Stage movement: classic dance, stage fighting, mime. Vocal technique. Basis of makeup.

Stage Technique

History of staging. Theater production. Set construction. Safety. Lighting. Drawing. Special lighting effects. Props. Costumes. Makeup. Wigs. Sound engineering.

Basic Directing Skills

The study of the different schools of direction. Analyzing the play: motivation, action, breaking down the script. Laws of composition: composing sketches and short scenes.Work with an actors. Music in performance. Staging.

Theater management

Marketing. Touring. Finance. Commercial and noncommercial theater.

Playwriting

History of playwriting. Russian playwriting. Translating ideas into stage reality.

Russian studies

Language. The history of culture. Singing and dance: folk, church and modern.
