ENTRY RULES

In order to participate in a competition one should fill out an application form, the questionnaire, give recommendations and documents stating the candidate's educational level.

Preliminary admission to the SM Theatre Academy is carried out after audition and interview. The SM Theatre Academy offers an opportunity of studying on the following faculties:
• Actor-Director's faculty;
• Musical Theatre faculty;
• Stage management faculty;

There are different examinations and admission requirements for each faculty:
• Fable
• Prose
• Poem
• Fast and slow dance (music may be offered) Song
• Improvisation on the given theme
• Explication (for directors)

Stage Management Faculty:
• Colloquium
• General test (in writing)
• Introduction of sample artworks (for art directors costume & makeup designers)
• Fast and slow dance (music may be offered) Song
• Improvisation on the given theme
• Explication (for directors)
